Armed robbers attacks bishop’s house in Juba

[Juba, South Sudan, Bhakitah Radio] Three armed robbers on Sunday attacked the house of the Assistant Bishop of Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan or ECSSS Diocese of Juba in Kuwait.

The burglars tried to enter the house of Bishop Frazer Yuggu and shoot the leg of one his guarding dogs when it denied them access, Radio Bakhita reports.

The Bishop says when the robbers failed to enter the house they shot four bullets at the car and broke some of its glasses.

He calls on the government authorities to find strategies to reduce armed criminals in the town and to protect citizens.

The Bishop says similar incident happened on Thursday, when armed men in uniform broke into the guest house of the church and took generator and a drum of diesel.
