President Kiir urges citizens to stop revenge killings

[Juba, South Sudan, TCT] President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Thursday has urged South Sudanese to stop revenge killings against their fellow compatriots.

President Kiir made the statement, while commissioning more than three hundred police officers at Juba national statement on Thursday.

‘’I want you people of South Sudan to stop revenge killings against each other. That is not a good way of treating each other “he said.

He says revenge attack will not create peaceful coexistence among the local communities. He cautioned communities must refrain from acts of revenge killings to create peace among local communities.
